Description

The Racing 62PR boasts a compact 61cm cutting-width that not only makes it easy to work around and between obstacles, but also makes it possible to gain access to areas beyond narrow gateways (unusually for a ride-on mower, the Racing 62PR will fit through a standard 28" gate).

A high-capacity 196cc (6.5hp) four-stroke overhead-valve engine - with electric start - provides dependable, fuel efficient power; five-step blade-height adjustment (35-75mm) ensures there’s a setting for every eventuality.

Thanks to its five-speed gearbox (four forward; one reverse), the Racing 62PR Ride-On Mower can be driven at a speed that’s most effective for the nature of the ground surface you’re operating on and the grass length you’re tackling.

Also noteworthy is the roomy, downtime minimising 150-litre grassbag; and the strong and durable steel cutter deck, which will shrug-off any knocks and bumps.

The staff at Mowdirect are very helpful and put the customer first, well done. The 62PR is a brilliant machine, it has cut my mowing time down to 30mins, instead of 90mins that it usually takes with my petrol push mower. There is plenty of scope in the adjustment both of the speed and cutting height. The driving position is comfortable. I have used it a couple of times since delivery and I have not spotted any problems up to now. Just a little tip, if you empty your cuttings into a bin don't get carried away because if you fill the collecting bag you will not be able to lift it off the machine. Overall, I think I have made a sound purchase and look forward to using it regularly from now on.

This is my first ride on mower and I won't be returning to the traditional type of mower. The cut from this machine is great and not labour intensive. The mower itself is a very affordable price and is easy to use after a bit of trial and error. The only not so positive points are that the instructions for assembly could be better, as it's not as straight forward as it appears and the details provided leave you guessing what different parts are at times. That said if you take your time most competent people can get the job done. Maybe I'm missing a trick but the oil tank is extremely hard to access and if you manage to fill it with no spills you are doing better than me and also I know there is a dip stick, but the capacity of the tank marked in the book would have been great.

This is the first ride-on mower I have owned. I've moved into a property with a large neglected garden and it was taking over a morning with a regular mower. This machine has made life so much easier. Its great to have electric start and a good range of speeds. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the length of the shortest cut. Bit too long for me, but on the positive side leaving the clover flowers for the bees is good for the environment. The other thing to mention was I had been concerned that with my very uneven lawn, it would make it difficult with a ride-on, but far from it. It copes well and the turning circle is excellent. Very happy with mower and when I phoned for advice during assembly, the tech team were very helpful.

Ordered my ride on mower on Monday last and it was delivered Tuesday, cannot get better than that!
