Where is my warranty / registration card ?
The majority of machines are registered by us (e.g. all ride-on mowers, Hayter, Toro & Agri-Fab products.) Your invoice is your proof of purchase should you have any warranty issues
Between 1-5 years depending on make and model. See individual product pages for more information.
Is the machine sent with petrol/oil administered ?
Yes. We provide oil with all petrol-powered products FOC as part of our service.
What oil should I use for my mower ?
We recommend 10/30 or SAE oil / Lawnmower oil
Please refer to your manual, which should have information on this (It is important not to under - fill or overfill)
What ratio of petrol/oil should I use with my 2 stroke machine?
If using synthetic oil (Blue/Red) the ratio should be 40:1. If using mineral oil (Green) the ratio should be 25:1.
You should only use fresh, unleaded petrol. Remember, modern fuel only lasts approximately 30 days unless fuel additive is used.
This varies from model to model. Ride-ons arrive fully-assembled & ready-to-go while some mowers will require handles to be attached & the grass box to be put together. Petrol lawnmowers will need the correct quantity of oil/petrol to be administered as will other petrol products. Please refer to your manual for assembly instructions.
This could be down to a number of things. With a petrol lawnmower, are you holding in the OPC (Operator presence control bar)? This is the bar that runs parallel to the top of the handlebars and you need to pull it back to start the engine. When released this stops the engine for safety purposes.
If there is a fuel switch, please ensure that this is on. If there is a primer, check that you have primed the machine. If there is a throttle, check that this is fully on (choke position) to start machine and remember to reduce throttle once machine has started.
Why is the self-propulsion on my machine not working ?
Check that the self-propulsion cable is correctly adjusted & all nuts and or bolts are tightened. Ensure that you do not cut the grass when too long or wet as this can cause the drive belt to slip off which would affect the self-propulsion.
I have a missing and/or broken part, what should I do?
Please email [email protected] with all details including model number/serial number, part number/ pictures & we will endeavour to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
