Comprehensive consumer research by Agri-Fab highlighted a key flaw in many wheeled leaf-sweepers - that of 'skipping', whereby the brush occasionally jumps over debris, leaving it uncollected. With this high-specification model, Agri-Fab have remedied the problem, so a first-time clean sweep - with no need for a second run - is assured.

Thanks to its expansive 122cm sweep width, the Agri-Fab 45-0492 offers a huge 24% increase in productivity when set against the smaller 96.5cm model.

Its high-torque gearing, high-traction wheels and heavy-duty brush combine to ensure a comprehensive pick-up; its adjustable working-height provides the flexibility you'll need to operate successfully on a variety of surfaces.

The Agri-Fab Smart-Sweep 122cm Towed Lawn & Leaf Sweeper is supplied with a positively cavernous 710-litre collector, so huge amounts of debris can be packed-in between emptying stops (debris can be dumped from the driver's seat, using a handily placed lever).

Equipped with a universal hitch pin, this model is suitable for use with all makes of garden tractor.

I have owned this sweeper for about 6 years, when it works it work well. The main problem is the built quality of the leaf collector, flimsy would discribe it to a tee. The collector handle lasted about 10 goes before the bracket gave up, the fittings on the metal bar that keeps the collector rigid also fell apart within a year. The wheels often seize and plough into the grass. Lots of ad-hoc repairs needed to keep it going. But, as I said, when working, it's works well. A large amount of space is needed to stored the sweeper.

After a lot of thought 3 years ago & studying the write up I decided to buy a Agri Fab sweeper, as I was having trouble with the grass being left on the land it was getting everywhere & looked messy. I could not have a grass collector on the ride on mower as I did not want to be mowing every few days, with the Agri Fab sweeper I can leave it 2 to 3 weeks & it picks the grass up pretty good. Now as for build quality in 3 years the only thing that has not been perfect is the fasten for the tipper handle, looking at the new one I see they have altered it & that was a needed improvement. I have made one for mine & that has cured the problem. The machine has not needed any other maintenance & is still as good now as it was on day one. Not good for your sales as another one will not be needed any time soon. Thanks.

Warning - after a few uses the wheel cogs stripped themselves out. We've had two now and it happened after about 6-10 uses. New wheels are not cheap. Bad design I would suggest....metal against plastic.

Easy assembly, easy operation but bag emptying handle should have telescopic adjustable extension to suit tractor size. Good performance, good value for money .
