It exerts a brutal 10 tonnes of splitting-force upon the subject-log, so it’s capable of handling the sort of knotty and/or green hardwoods that might defeat a lesser machine; and it’s fitted with a pair of sizeable 250mm transport wheels, which ensure it can be manoeuvred into position with supreme ease.
Power is supplied by a high-performance 200cc air-cooled four-stroke engine with economy optimising OHV technology.
The highest-capacity model in the range, the Feider FBT-10T100 10-Tonne Petrol Log-Splitter will accept logs up to 106cm in length, and up to 40cm in diameter.
