Mountfield SP46 Self-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower

Key amongst those convenience features is its self-propelled drive - you’ll be able to breeze up slopes and whizz across rough, tussocky grass without tiring yourself out.
The Mountfield SP46 Self-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower is driven by a STIGA ST 140 OHV Autochoke engine; a compact 139cc power pack that develops an impressive 3hp, and which utilises economy optimising and emission cutting OHV (overhead-valve) technology.
It’s based around a CP1 steel chassis, so rugged durability and a lengthy service life are assured; and it boasts single rather than multi-lever cutting-height adjustment, so the pre-mowing set-up couldn’t be easier.
The SP46 is both collection and mulch capable, with the latter option ideal for well-maintained short-grass areas, and providing your lawn with natural nourishment from the rapidly decomposing mulch.
The roomy 60-litre catcher on this model is made from canvas for space saving storage, and benefits from a blockage and spillage preventing ‘bag full’ indicator.
A 46cm cut makes the Mountfield SP46 a good match for lawns up to 800m2.
